Diana is a registered occupational therapist assistant, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She is also licensed with the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. Diana was born in Colombia, South America, but grew up in Statesville NC. She completed her undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where she obtained her degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in psychology. Prior to becoming an OTA, Diana was a Wellness Coordinator for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation for three years. Diana wanted to pursue a career in occupational therapy since she was a young girl and was able to return to school to obtain her degree from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in Concord, NC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two babies. Diana loves to dance, travel, and help out and advocate for her community. Diana is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and is excited to make a positive impact in the lives of each family and child.
