Eleanor Hodge, OTR/L
Eleanor is a registered occupational therapist, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She is licensed by both the North Carolina and South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy. Eleanor is originally from Winston Salem, NC and has lived in NC her entire life. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate education, majoring in Exercise and Sport Science and minoring in Medical Anthropology. Eleanor completed her masters degree at East Carolina University. Eleanor has always had a passion for working with children and their families – She spent the majority of time during her college career working as caregiver for a young-adult with ASD, collaborating with the family to create goals to improve skills in community networking, supported employment, handwriting, social awareness and effective communication using his AAC device. Eleanor became even more dedicated to pediatric occupational therapy during her rotation at Levine Children’s Hospital. She loves playing with her puppy (115 lb. Great Dane), exercising, and hanging out with friends. Eleanor is passionate about incorporating evidence-based practice in all therapy sessions. She is excited to work with your child and family!
