Jamille Sanchez, OTR/L

Jamille is a registered occupational therapist, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and owner of Therapy World. She graduated from Florida International University with a bachelors (B.S.) in Elementary Education and ESOL endorsement and Masters (M.S.) in Occupational Therapy. She has worked with children and their families for over 8 years within various settings including the school system, outpatient clinics, and home health/early intervention. With her years of expertise, she has received extensive training with feeding, sensory processing, and behaviors. She delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions to her patients through the application of DIR/Floortime, Coaching, the Alert Program, Wilbarger Therapressure Program, Handwriting Without Tears, Beckman Oral Motor Protocols, and more. She has provided support to children with multiple diagnosis including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, hydrocephalus, plagiocephaly, torticollis, Cerebral Visual Impairment, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other conditions. Jamille is bilingual in Spanish and has integrated herself in supporting the bilingual community through family education and training. She is married and is a mother of two beautiful girls. She loves spending time with family, dancing, and participating in sports.
