Diarra Everett, OTR/L

Diarra is a registered occupational therapist, certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. She graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelors (B.S.) in Exercise Science and Masters (M.S.) in Occupational Therapy from Towson University in Maryland. She has a passion for working with children in pediatric settings and helping young minds develop in a fun and creative way. She has worked with children and their families for over 5 years while working towards becoming an OT including providing childcare services, teaching part-time at a daycare center, and at a TK-1st grade school for neurodivergent children with various diagnoses.

During her Master’s program, Diarra completed her Level II clinical fieldwork rotation with Therapy World, and she is now excited to be working as a part of the team to provide occupation-based and client-centered services. She also was privileged to complete fieldwork at The Institute for Well-Being in Towson and lead parent education courses on sensory integration and communication during play, and she lead online cooking classes for teens with autism.

She recently got married to the love of her life. In her free time she loves spending time with her friends and family, retail therapy, trying new recipes, traveling, and playing board games.
