Ronnie Grijalva, CCC-SLP

Ronnie's path to speech-language pathology (SLP) was inspired by a deep desire to help others find their voice. After obtaining his B.S in biology at the College of Charleston in 2016, he spent time in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. While fascinating, these fields lacked the direct human impact Ronnie yearned for. This led him to pursue his M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University in 2022. Ronnie has experience empowering children and adults facing a range of diagnoses, including autism, down syndrome, cleft palate, brain injuries, aphasia, and neurodegenerative disorders. He has extensive experience tackling diverse communication challenges like apraxia, language deficits, voice disorders, fluency problems, feeding/swallowing difficulties, and the need for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Beyond the clinic, Ronnie enjoys reading, running, weightlifting, trying new local restaurants, and cherishing moments with his wife, son, and 3 furry companions.
